How buying clothes fell out of fashion

He predicted bricks-and-mortar shops would transform into smaller "kiosks" as online stores take off.

Specialty aims to have 15 per cent of sales coming from online buying by 2015.

"We don't see online as a threat, we see it as an advantage because we will be able to lower our cost base," Mr Perlstein said.
